- Vegan-friendly and eco-friendly inks
Cons
- N/A
Eco Tattoo London is one of the favourite tattoo shops in the area.
They live by seeing tattoos as pieces of art and a means of self-expression, and we think this is why they create such beautiful tattoos.
What we like about their tattoo services is that their tattoos are eco-friendly. They lead the way when it comes to sustainable tattooing & piercing.
They’re able to reduce their ecological footprint through their vegan-friendly and eco-friendly inks.
What’s more is that their studio itself was created with the environment in mind, and uses a lot of sustainable resources to operate.
We like that their artists ensure that their clients get exactly what they want, and they remain professional and friendly throughout the process.
The tattoos they create are absolutely incredible and are, without a doubt, pieces of art themselves.

One other tattoo studio that’s worth going to is Blank Collective!
Founded in 2022, it’s a high-end body modification studio located in South East London.
What we like about this place is how they showcase the talent of world renowned, award winning tattooers.
They even have pioneers in tooth jewellery, which we find really swell.
We think their studio is different from the average tattoo studio.
For one, it’s very spacious and has a comfortable feel. The place is also impeccably clean with much natural light coming in.
The place is really meant to be comfortable because they take care of you there. They have vegan pick and mix, teas and coffees available for those who come in.
Another thing that makes the place comfortable and welcoming is the fact that they have a fully wheelchair accessible bathroom.
They made sure that the space is accessible for anyone regardless of disability, gender or sexuality which we really appreciate.
The artists are amazing and take care of their clients very well. We think they’re genius artists who really know how to satisfy their clients.
We can’t doubt their talent and we highly recommend coming to this place!

- Communicative and welcoming artists
Cons
- Slots fill up fast
- Inconsistent hours
Established in 2007, Hammersmith Tattoo London has built a strong reputation as a tattoo shop in London because of their excellent track record and great customer service. They have won multiple awards in local and international tattoo conventions.
After trying their services, we weren’t disappointed. Their artists are beyond talented as seen in their portfolio.
They have a wide roster of artists who specialise in different styles. Whether you want to opt for a minimalist tattoo or something more intricate, the artists have the uncanny ability to visualise your vision and turn it into a reality, based on what we’ve seen.
They even have an artist who does permanent makeup if you want to have your lips or eyebrows done. The artists are all just passionate about what they do and it shows in their results.
If you’re not sure what exactly you want yet, they can also help you design your tattoo. They’re very creative and would help you decide on the best tattoo that will fit your preference.
They’re really easy to talk to, so the whole process is seamless. They’re very communicative, which we like.
We also noticed that the shop is clean and everything is handled in a sanitary manner. The vibe of the shop is also very relaxed and comfortable and everyone is welcoming and professional.
We’re not the only ones who think so, as a lot of the previous customers also praise how clean and organised they are.
Although they allow walk-ins, we noticed that slots fill up fast so it’s better to set up an appointment. You can do this by answering their online form where you can fill in the details on the size and design you want for your tattoo.

Pros
- Accessible location
- Clean studio
- Easy to talk to the artists
- Sell merchandise on their shop
- Relatively affordable prices
Cons
- Have to go in person to book appointments or get a quotation
- Inconsistent hours
Frith Street opened in 2004 and since then, they have made their name as a tattoo shop offering high quality tattooing and top notch customer service that keeps people coming back. Located smack dab in Soho, they’re easily accessible.
We like that they have a wide roster of artists who are really skilled at what they do. They mostly specialise in coloured and very intricate designs.
They can also give you a hand in designing and figuring out what kind of tattoo you want. They have extensive experience and a lot of creativity and it really shows in the quality and visual appeal of the tattoo and the fast turnaround time.
Based on our experience, their studio is clean and the people are all friendly. It’s easy to talk to them, making it easy to communicate the design and style you want.
Even if you just have a vague idea of the inspiration, they can help you make your design, consulting you through the whole process. They’re very thorough and hands on all throughout.
During the session, they also do their best to make you feel comfortable and even monitor your pain level.
If you want something to remember your session by, they sell merchandise as well. You can check out their store here.
We noticed that the prices here are pretty affordable, which is a steal considering the quality of their work. However, they can’t give quotations over the phone or through email, you really have to go to their shop if you want to know the range you have to shell out for your tattoo.
That also goes for booking appointments. They don’t have online forms and you also can’t book an appointment through a call.

- Wide roster of artists with different specialisations
- Responsive to inquiries
- Offer tattoo removal and body piercing services
Cons
- £60 non-refundable deposit
- Website is a bit cluttered
Established in 2009, Kings Cross Tattoo Parlour caught our eye because of their impressive portfolio and amazing customer service. They’re located in the heart of Central London, just a short walk from Kings Cross & St. Pancras station.
They’re very accessible location-wise and they’re also very responsive to inquiries, based on what we’ve seen. They even have a free consultation service if you’re still not sure what kind of style you want.
They allow walk-ins, but are subject to availability still. If you want a sure slot, you have to book an appointment, you can do so on their online form.
Do know that every booking requires a £60 non-refundable deposit. So only do so if you’re sure.
What we like about this shop is how they’ll really guide you throughout the whole tattoo process. They’re very open and professional, so it’s easy to ask questions especially if this is your first time getting a tattoo.
From what we’ve seen, some of the styles they specialise in include the following:
- Black and grey realism
- Japanese tattooing
- Colourful neo traditional style
- Contrasted fine-line tattooing
Despite their different specialisations, we find them very versatile. They can still adjust depending on the client’s preference.
Plus, the shop is clean and organised. The vibe is also very comfortable and would really put you at ease.
We also like that they also offer tattoo removal and body piercing as well.
We do wish their website is a bit more organised, however. As it makes it a bit hard to look through their services.

Vagabond Tattoo was established in 2012, making them younger compared to the other shops in this list. Still, we included them because of their efficient service and established clientele.
We like that their designs are clean and original and span a wide range of styles. Whether you want something intricate, colourful, or something very simple, they can help design the tattoo for you and make it happen.
They have a large roster of artists with different specialisations. Here are some of the styles you can choose from:

If you’ve got your eyes on a particular artist, make sure to check their availability so you know when to book your session. Artists can have long waiting lists, so that’s something to consider.
The place is clean and sleek and the people here are friendly. This must be why they have a lot of return customers.
Booking an appointment is pretty easy, you just have to answer their online form and wait for them to get back to you. We like that there’s no deposit required.
Do know that consultations, albeit free, are by appointment only. So walk-ins are discouraged.
We like that they have a clear process and walk through before you get tattooed and after. They’re very hands on and have good attention to detail, from what we’ve seen.

You can go there with some sample images and mood boards to give the artists a general idea of what you want.
Booking is a bit tricky, based on experience. They don’t really have an online form and also won’t be able to check availability or book you in over email.
They prefer that you go over to their shop so you can have a consultation with their artists, you can let them know what you’re after, what the size of the tattoo is, and where the tattoo is going to be.
They don’t respond to emails quickly, from what we’ve seen. It’s best to give them a call first or visit them directly.

We think that you definitely won’t be disappointed with the tattoo you get from them because we’ve seen a lot of the work they’ve done so far and they’re art.
They work closely with their customers to ensure that you’re satisfied with the work they do. But we think you’ll surely be satisfied because their artists are creative, talented and skilled.
One thing about their studio though is that they only work by appointment and you would have to pay a deposit in order to book a session.

While she is constantly experimenting, her current style is primarily focused on and inspired by pop-culture subjects such as comic books, video games, movies, musical icons, etc. This is expressed through the use of vibrant and bright colors, strong and bold outlines, and a mix of different techniques that are also influenced by graffiti and street art.
