Introduction
The special ability of the Adventurer is a hook that allows her to leap across gaps by using it on some grips.

As for every other character's walkthrough page, we will refer to your characters as Adventurer (the Adventurer), First (any of the two other characters) and Second (the other one). First and Second can be any character, it doesn't matter as long as of course it's not the Adventurer, the main character of this trial.
There is one missable achievement related to the unique quest of the Adventurer (Walk Like An Adventurer). It requires you to put your three characters before a wall with a certain painting on it. This is done shortly after the scene with another "adventurer", and must be done before advancing too much with the quest since it becomes unavailable after about a third of the trial.
There are three Cave Paintings available during the Adventurer trial, like every other character-specific trial.

The Adventurer Trial
- After going through the door on the left of the pool of water where you land after "The Miner" puzzle, leap across a gap to the left by using the Adventurer's hook (it's her special ability; press Y)
- Step on the piece of floor that works as a pressure button (just left of the gap) to temporarily remove the spikes from the ground, so that the other two characters can cross the gap too. They will join you automatically later anyway, so feel free to leave them behind for now
- Go left and there will be a fork; either upwards or straight left. Go upwards and continue (straight left is just a dead end). As you go up you will find another small fork; go straight left this time to reach a small dead end where Cave Painting # 01/03 is
- Then proceed further upwards. After reaching the top of the pyramid, descend all the way downwards on the left
- On the bottom-left part of the pyramid, use the hook to cross another gap of spikes. You will land on a button-floor and a random character will speak with you
- After the "chat", so to speak, go further right. At this point the other two characters should respawn behind you
- Go further right to find two ladders; ignore the first one that goes up and take the other one instead. The second ladder can take you up or down; go down first
- After descending, ignore the path on the right and go left to find yet another ladder; it's quite long, but follow it all the way down. Go right and operate a button of some sort to get the "Ankh" item; carry it with you
- Backtrack up the previous ladder, then go up another ladder (which you climbed down at first) and this time follow it all the way up
You will reach an area where, between you and the next ladder, there is a painting of three Egyptians. It's not particularly big; it's just a normal painting wall. You want to stand still before this picture with all your three characters at once. By doing so they will automatically imitate the typical Egyptian-painting pose, and you will unlock:

- In any case, after going up the last ladder (which is left of the paintings related to the previous achievement) you will reach yet another ladder (on the right of the painting) that takes you up; follow it
- After climbing it up, cross another gap with the hook to find the Ankh Recess, the "thing" where you have to put the Ankh retrieved earlier. Do so to unlock the passage to the left, and go left to step on a small button-platform
- Stepping on this button will "turn on" the light behind a rabbit picture, and most importantly it will also unlock a passage somewhere else
- Switch to First and descend the ladder on the left of the painting related to the previous achievement. Go all the way down the ladder
- After descending down the ladder, go right and drop off a few platforms to reach the piece of floor that was opened by the button activated by the Adventurer a moment ago. Fall through the floor and you will reach an area with four more buttons on the ground. You can't backtrack up anymore after this point; therefore the Walk Like An Adventurer achievement won't be available anymore
- From left to right these buttons represent: Snake, Flamingo, Dog and Lion. As you can imagine, each of these buttons activates something somewhere else
- Before doing anything, switch to Second and send him/her where First is, so you can have to characters in the area with the four buttons on the ground. As Second arrives, the passage through the floor will close
- With First and Second, step on Snake + Lion. This opens a wall near where the Adventurer was (assuming you left her on the button with the rabbit icon)
- Switch to Adventurer and jump up and to the right to go through the passage that was opened by the other two characters a moment ago. Go further right
- Switch to First and Second again, and this time step on the Dog button. Make sure neither of them is on another button, otherwise this won't work
- Switch to Adventurer again. Now the "Dog" icon on the wall above her and on the right should be lit; use the hook to reach the upper level
- Switch to First/Second and this time step only on the Flamingo button. This will slow down the spikes on the floor where the Adventurer is
- Finally go left with the Adventurer; the spikes are still active, but they are slow enough to be able to go left of them before they hit again
- Switch to First/Second and step on the Snake platform only, so you spawn a platform above the next spikes on the way of the Adventurer
- As the Adventurer, drop down on the left (on the platform spawned a moment ago) to continue even further left
- Activate the Lion platform with First/Second. Be careful here, because from now on there will be spikes on the ceiling above their head (just don't jump)
- Continue left with Adventurer and drop down. Stop before a spiked floor
- Step on the Flamingo + Dog platforms to allow the Adventurer to proceed (again, this will slow down the spikes on the Adventurer's way, but it won't stop them completely)
- Then go right with the Adventurer of course, and be ready to use the hook to cross a gap of spikes
- Step on Snake + Flamingo next, and then switch back to the Adventurer once again
- Go right with the Adventurer to reach the Sarcophagus. Push it to the right through the now-open door and make it fall off the edge on the right
- Jump down to follow the Sarcophagus, then push it left on a platform that will slowly descend
- Follow the Sarcophagus down again
- Switch to First/Second and step on the Dog button only
- Back to the Adventurer, step on the button-floor on the left of the Sarcophagus to make it descend further down
- Descend in your turn by following the path on the right (don't just "ride" the platform down). Following the path on the right allows you to reach the part where the Sarcophagus is descending and go left of it
- Going left (on the lower floor) allows you to step on another button-floor. Do so to open the way for the Sarcophagus once again. Note that if you're not fast enough the Sarcophagus will go back up
- Proceed left of this button-floor and drop down to find Cave Painting # 02/03
- Quickly descend on the right side now. You may notice a hook on the right; its purpose is to allow you to backtrack upwards in case you fail to activate the next and last button-floor
- Drop on the right (below the aforementioned hook)
- Quickly switch to First/Second and step on the Lion button only, so you can open a door on the Adventurer's way
- Switch to the Adventurer again, go left and step on the next button-floor to let the Sarcophagus descend all the way down. Again, in case you fail to be fast enough the Sarcophagus will return up instead
- "Ride" down the platform with the Sarcophagus to find the other adventurer again
- Drag and push the Sarcophagus right to brutally get rid of the poor Englishman adventurer, then keep pushing/pulling it right to reach a bridge that will break under the weight of the sarcophagus
- After falling down, go left. You will find a button-floor on the ground; if you stand on this one it will spawn a ladder for you to climb up, but unfortunately you can't do so with only one character
- Go further left and you'll find three more icon-related buttons on the ground. Notice the painting before these buttons; they represent combinations of the "animal icons" (of the room with the other two characters) with these three new symbols. In particular:
- Dog + Lion + Left-most symbol
- Lion + Flamingo + Middle symbol
- Snake + Dog + Right-most symbol
- Guess what -- step with the three characters on the correct three buttons at once (Dog + Lion with First/Second and, at the same time, on the left-most symbol with the Adventurer; and so on with the other two combinations). Do this with all the three combinations to unlock the path for First and Second (a "green flame" will be lit in the area where the Adventurer is every time you successfully step on a combination of buttons) -- the floor will open below their feet, allowing their escape
- Make your escape with First/Second by dropping down through the hole in the floor
- After dropping down, push the block (the piece of floor that you broke a moment ago) to the left, and make it fall off the edge. It's now in the area where the Adventurer is
- Of course now you just have to switch to the Adventurer, drag the block left to the button on the floor of this area to spawn the ladder, and then climb up the ladder to join the other two characters
- Go right after climbing up the ladder and step with the three characters on the platform on the floor at the same time to open the passage further right
- Proceed to the right and you will unlock:

Came ever-so-close to recovering the Sarcophagus.

- At this point you're almost done with this place. When you go right you can ignore the passage straight right (leads nowhere) and take the upper path instead. This will lead you to Cave Painting # 03/03 and then (keep going right) out of this place for good
You will reach the area below the very first spiked-floor of the Adventurer's Trial, which is the same spot that you would have reached if, without the Adventurer, you simply fell down the gap that would have been placed instead of the spiked floor above your head.
On a side note, the third Cave Painting described in this page is available during the generic puzzles too, but if the Adventurer is not with you this one will always be an Adventurer Painting. Therefore it can still be considered a Cave Painting related only to the Adventurer Trial (you can only get it if she is with you anyway).
